Caps and hats are highly visual products, but a photo does not show every construction detail that affects fit and appearance. Panel shape, crown height, fabric stiffness, brim construction, closure, sweatband, embroidery density, ventilation, labels, and packing can all change the final result. This guide is a buyer checklist rather than a fixed specification. Final fabric, dimensions, panel construction, decoration, labels, quantity requirements, and production feasibility should be confirmed with the selected supplier. 1. Start with the cap or hat style and target fit Share a product photo, physical sample, supplier link, sketch, or product code. Explain whether the target is a baseball cap, trucker cap, snapback, dad cap, five-panel cap, bucket hat, visor, beanie, or another style. Also describe the intended look and fit: low-profile, structured, unstructured, deep, shallow, flat-brim, curved-brim, fitted, relaxed, or another target.
